Note to self: DO NOT rely on ticket machines in train stations on a day when lots of newbies are travelling. People who don't know how to use the machines will bring the progress of the line to a grinding halt while they figure out the purchase process.

Next time, we go upstairs to the actual ticket agent. It'll take way less time. Plus it's a way for NJ Transit to see that keeping human beings on the payroll is necessary.

We made our connection to the Trenton-to-NYC train, just barely! Now we're on the second of three trains to Belmont.
