Arrrrgh... the freaking shower leaked into the living room again. Third time in four years.
The first time, we had to have a plumber replace some ancient fixtures. The second time, Mark tightened a valve and it was fixed. He tightened the valve again just now. It SEEMS to have worked. While the drip was in progress, I draped a plastic trash bag on the loveseat, which was in the line of fire, and layered some paper towls under the drip site. Now that we're testing Mark's fix, I dried off said plastic bag and replaced the saturated paper towels with dry ones.
The ceiling is no longer raining on the furniture, but I'll leave the protective covering on the loveseat a while longer, just in case some belated drips decide to come down and join the party.
