Fun Fact, Day 4

It's almost exactly 0.5 miles from our front doorstep to a good beach spot, at high(ish) tide. That is to say, about an hour after high tide,

One of our 13-year-old beach chairs died yesterday, but fortunately Larry has chairs that renters can use. So we're using one of those. 

It's warm enough in the house this year that I'm running the A/C for Baxter when we're out. That extra couple hours of sunlight in early July, as opposed to late August, makes a difference. Last year, we didn't even have to LOOK at the A/C, never mind use it. 

But this is normal July weather, and since it's been sunny and breezy outdoors, you won't hear me complain. :) I'm happier than a seagull with a French fry. ;)
