We had a really nice weekend, with a trip to Marsh Creek on Sunday and a visit to John R's on Monday. Both times, we got Betty to go with us. It's good that we were able to get her out of the house for a while. It has been a few years since we have been able to convince her to leave the house for more than a few hours at a time. All-day outings were hard for her to commit to, as it was hard for her to find someone to fill in taking care of her dad.

The only bummer, to me, was that on Sunday it was too chilly to swim. But just sitting at Marsh Creek was nice. It's so pretty there; I wish it was a bit closer to home. But I'm glad we found it at all, as it's the only wheelchair-accessible pool I've ever seen.

Next up on the major events list: Donna H and Dave should be coming in for a weekend later this month. That will be nice.
