A New Posting Method

I'm experimenting with a new way of posting to the blog. I've started to learn different ways of using AI, and this one might turn out to be one of the more interesting ones. It definitely will make it extremely easy to send a post; instead of going to a URL and logging in, I can just type this way and send it.

I've been recovering from my SECOND surgery lately, which was done in July. Unfortunately, at the one-year followup after my first surgery, it was discovered that the original break was not fully healed, the hardware was starting to come loose at one end, and the bone at the top end of the hardware was developing a new fracture. Since I was aware that pain could continue for a year or more, I didn't flag the pain these things were causing as anything unusual. Well, the x-rays and the CT scan told a different story.

Long story short: in July, the old hardware was taken out, a bone marrow graft was applied to the two fracture areas, and more hardware (two of them this time, not one) got installed. More months of NWB (non weight-bearing) followed, and let me tell you, NWB is a test of character; doubly so when it's combined with pain.

But at least my most recent x-rays from a couple weeks ago showed I'm where I'm supposed to be at this point in the healing process. If I can't have "magically healed instantly", I'll gladly accept "healing like I'm supposed to be healing". (But doggone, I wish that instantaneous healing was a viable option!)

I'm working remotely, as I did at this time last year, because commuting 5 days a week is more strenuous than I'm able to handle.

Onward and upward. Let's hit "post" on this!
